Juniors Section Full of Promise

Isn't it great that, on the drive out of KGC, a glance to your right sees the practice facility so often filled with youngsters and coaches?

KGC's Juniors Section, under the stewardship and guidance of Paul Seal and his team, with fantastic coaching from Jack Carter, is really going from strength to strength. News-wise the Juniors section is also extremely good at telling us what's going on.

First up this week, we can report that Rachel, Gavin, Alice and two Joshes managed a creditable 5/5 draw with Pannal, which means they've only narrowly missed out on playing in the HDU Finals Day. Nevertheless, it's been a very good year for the team.

In the Junior Rorys competition, Harvey Vincent put in a great performance in the Stableford and Putting competitions, pipping two newcomers Jasmine Lee and younger brother Ryan.

Fair to say we're all very proud of what the youngsters are achieving this year and the way they're representing Knaresborough Golf Club. Keep it up kids (and parents and coaches).
