NIGHT GOLF (3)"Can we do this every week?" is the usual question from KGC's hardier golfers as they emerge from the darkness at the end of another year's 7 hole crepuscular caper.

While there's the odd exception (no names, no pack drill), participants flock back to sign up for the event whenever we hold it. After all, what could be more spectacular than seeing a glowing ball trace, comet-like across the night sky...?

It's all great fun and played for a couple of great causes.... Men's Captain's Charity, Myeloma UK and Harrogate Railway Under 16 Football club.

Importantly it's also accompanied by a raffle... and this year we have some incredible prizes including a Landrover off-road driving experience, Bettys/Taylors hamper, case of wine, and many more.

So even if you don't feel like braving a February "evening out" please do your own bit with a strip of raffle tickets (available from KGC Clubhouse bar).

Massive thanks to sponsor Clearview Windows who have stepped up for the third time to provide all the paraphernalia required to play golf in the dark.... glowing balls and myriad lightsticks.

So please, as ever, do the event proud.

If you're a first timer... there's nothing to be scared of out there in the stygian gloom... and nobody can see your dodgy swing!

Sign up sheet on KGC noticeboard.
