A fun-filled month lies ahead at Knaresborough Golf Club as our social calendar begins to fill up. Gladrags on and lighters in the air (well, maybe not really!) for the return of the very popular Peter Kay tribute act on February 17th.

A lovely Sunday lunch follows on the 18th February – menu below!

Then, a dressed up who-dunnit evening to rival the scullduggery of Cluedo – the Murder Mystery evening of February 24th.

Did you get the message to have your passports at the ready? This month we continue our Around the World 2024 culinary tour, with a stop at the spice filled bazaars and temples of India.

Your tastebuds will be left scintillated and warmed by our delicate Indian menu!

On Friday, April 12th Around the World takes us to the land of matadors and beating hot sun. Sombreros and castanets at the ready, we are heading for the Spanish plains for some delicious tapas!

Our popular Annual Race Night returns on April 20th. Compered by our specialist DJ from York with all the right skills and software to bring to life on the large screens an evening of horse racing. Teams or individuals can sponsor a horse for the evening, or specific races. There are prizes to be had!

Our Wine and Cheese night returns!

We are excited for our June ball on Saturday, June 15th. Summer is finally here and we have a mind to celebrate! More details to come..

The highlight of our annual social calendar, our Theakston’s Day returns in July with golf, food and good beer, of course. Prizes presented by the Theakston’s team. Date to be confirmed.

A busy month in the heart of the golfing calendar.

We have a 9-hole presentation evening, and – as the nights begin to draw in – an End of Season party to enjoy.

Our Autumn Sunday Carvery returns on September 22nd, 2024. It’s time for our cosy Sunday lunch with roast meat and all the freshest harvest veg again. Yorkies, a given!

England vs. Scotland is a regular fixture of our calendar and draws both intense friendly competition and an excuse to eat and drink all things Scottish with vigour. We look forward to welcoming you – put your best foot forward.

The Autumn Scramble is another popular event heralding the start of the brief but beautiful golden season on the Course. It’s a great excuse to be social too.

Our Annual General Meeting at which the issues of the day for the Club are discussed by the members and voted on.

October 31st  sees us celebrate the frightful and ghoulish with a tantalising Halloween party! Here for a hauntingly good time..

This month and the start of ‘starry night’ season sees our Night Golf event return (date tbc) where we light up the night our own way – with coloured LED golf balls. Of course we will have food and refreshments for those watching the night-lit colour display from the Clubhouse balcony and windows.
